THE APPEAL LETTER

To: All Friends in the Dharma.

Dear Friends,

The storm that lasted from October 22, 2025 to October 30, 2025, caused flooding in the Central Region of Vietnam, from Quang Tri to Lam Dong province. The two most severely affected places were Da Nang and Hue City, with water rising to the roof of the Japanese Covered Bridge Temple in Hoi An and flooding the Thai Hoa Imperial Palace in Hue!

The flood caused hundreds of thousands of houses to be submerged; hundreds of people to die and be injured; thousands of hectares of crops to be damaged; and tens of thousands of livestock to be destroyed!

Faced with this great tragedy, Phap Nguyen Temple calls on fellow Buddhists to be compassionate and save people in distress:
